Did I mention that Monday's suck?

For no other reason than the fact that it is a Monday, a new work week...I suppose I could look at is as a new time table that gets me to Friday? If I only thought about things that way. We had a fab weekend again, lots of booze. I think that when Trainer and I end up doing something that involves kids we feel the need to exercise those 'twenty something' habits and go get drunk. Maybe just because we can? I don't know...and really is it a 'twenty something' thing? We've been doing it well into our thirties. Something to ponder. I drank on Thursday (1 1/2 glasses of wine), Friday (Beer and Burgers night), Saturday (Happy Hour out at trendy bar, continued at home with the addition of Kissopoly) and HAD to finish the opened bottle of wine (from Thursday) on Sunday.

Anyway, I just popped in to say "Hey!" and that all is good in the land of the barren. (Don't read into that one, just a funny statement, I'm not longing for a child...truly.)

I checked in with my Gold's gym person today, took my measurements and I'm losing inches and body fat, no weight though. Maybe if I didn't subscribe to the Burgers and Beer diet every Friday it would help? Thoughts?

Off to go make dinner for the Trainer...I'm thinking of Hoisin Chicken over brown rice and a spinach salad with goat cheese. Yum. Trying for 7 days of no eating out. Ready...set...GO!

Just think of Monday as "only two more days until Kayak day" Wa-hoo!

So going with your "anything that involves children must be followed by consuming mass quantities of adult beverages" theory...

Totally explains Coach. I'm jus' sayin'....

Wow, after a weekend like that, of course you are mourning! I took Monday pretty hard my own self.

Glad to hear you are losing inches! Woohoo! I'm finding the ones you lost, unfortunately!

I need to join you in not eating out for a week. I can't afford it, and I always overeat. Plus, it's usually more fattening stuff.
